Slowcuts is a Youth Culture Centre located on Vesterbro in Copenhagen. The program encompasses a wide range of activities for young people. The whole building questions the standard way of dividing space into flat planes with interconnecting vertical and horizontal communication routes. Thus it uses a gently sloping ramp as a way of organizing space in the building. The ramp acts as stairs, corridors and planes – all at the same time. The shifting landscape provides space for innovative use and playfulness.
